Kim Sielbeck is an illustrator and musician born in Alaska, shuffling around the U.S. in a Coast Guard family, and currently in Brooklyn. Her work appears in various formats: magazines illustrations, typography, drink menus, zines, comic books, posters, t-shirts, even paper maché sculpture.  Silkscreen remains her favorite medium, allowing her brush and ink drawings to spring to life with bright bold colors. Mostly Kim can be found running around the beach, looking at old signage, daydreaming, bike riding, and hanging out with great people. Her music project, Puppies, combines performance and visual media.  They have produced self-published zines, stickers, and comics.  She frequently collaborates with Killer Acid and Giant Squid Letterpress. Kim has been recognized by American Illustration, the Society of Illustrators, the Clocktower Gallery, Art International Radio, and the School of Visual Arts. She has shown in New York and London, and graduated in 2009 from the School of Visual Arts.
