you’re invited…

Posted by on Apr 24, 2012 in NEWS | No Comments

This upcoming weekend (April 28-29), I’ll be participating in these three events.  Stop by and say hi (and maybe bring me some coffee…)!

I’ll be at MoCCA on Saturday and Sunday, in booth A19 (along the right side, towards the back).  I’ll have several new projects… tshirts, accordion books, copies of Wrap magazine, notecards, and more.

On Saturday night, I’ll be at the opening of Freehand Jobs at Pandemic Gallery (I designed the flyer with Rob Corradetti).  I stopped by to see how the installation was going last night, and the show is looking amazing.  A big group of artists are contributing their talents, which vary from sculptors, to tattoo artists, to sign painters, and everything inbetween… the results are beautiful. and curated by none other than Rocky Banks. highly recommend this one!

Last and not least, the robots previously on display at Desert Island will be included in a Big Snow Buffalo Lounge event called Jammin Monster Party, which is also happening Saturday night.  There will be music, art, and lots of monsters.  More details here!

excited and honored to announce that I’m featured in Issue 4 of  Wrap magazine! Available to purchase here.

From their site: “WRAP is unique – it’s a magazine AND a product (wrapping paper) in one. Held together in a hard cover with a large elastic band and no staples, each page has a print on the reverse and is easily pulled out and re-used to wrap gifts”

Here’s a video of my illustration being used as wrapping paper… full update to come soon!

I drew some type and worked on the packaging for Moonchild Rising, a jewelry collection that is part of Melncoly.

Definitely check out Melyssa’s site, as she has tons of beautiful pieces of hand-crafted jewelry.  I’d love to own every piece.

I had a great time designing a logo for Sparkle City, a DJ hosted dance party hosted by Jonas Stein and friends…  Spinning soul, r&b, disco, and all things sexy in Nashville, TN, I tried to tap into that 70′s Boogie Nights neon vibe…. with extra sparkles…
